Melbourne Youth Ministry
Owning Faith. Living Faith.
Our youth ministry is based around the idea of owning and living our faith in Jesus. A lot of people that have grown up in the church have never asked the tough questions and really stretched their faith. Our youth ministry strives to create an environment of growth and encouragement to allow for those questions to be asked and real relationships to be formed.
How do we do this?
When people think of youth ministry, they typically think of crazy lock-ins and pizza. While those things are very much still part of the equation, we aren’t just dedicated to having fun. As we try to OWN and LIVE our faith, we spend time seeking where Christ is leading us. We practice Spiritual Disciplines, read and pray together, and of course spend time building relationships with each other on trips and events. We have a lot going on, but it all has a purpose. I promise, you will get something out of our youth ministry if you pour yourself into our youth ministry. You only get what you put into it; and that is what we are striving to do.
LEVEL UP SUMMER!?
Summer Series Wednesday Night classes on difficult topics that will get you to the next level Bible Knowledge
The last Friday of each month is Fast Friday! We will fast to level up our prayer
Teen week is July 7th through 13th. This year’s theme is Jesus Vision and promises to be a level up for our adventures
Mondays and Thursdays each week during the summer, Florida Ave Church of Christ will be hosting Feed and Read. We will join them in feeding the children in our area so that we can level up our community
Every Tuesday our church hosts a food pantry. Meet up to level up our MYM friendships
